boxing doesn't need this controversy with canelo right now
Actually, they do. The reality is that VADA did a great job in not only catching a star fighter, but allowing the promoters in charge to acknowledge what has transpired. Now the question becomes how will boxing handle drug testing. The government has to get involved here. Fighters should get tested randomly at least twice off camp then get either VADA or USADA testing once contracts gets signed. And they should ban strength and conditioning coaches once one of their fighters test positive.

He had to and its a good thing. He is going to get suspended anyways and GGG's promoter was already hosting a fight on May 5th at the MGM Grand. He wants to prove to be a clean fighter and if he fought GGG on May 5th then its a lose lose for him. He fights GGG when we all know he is clean its a different story.
It's hilarious how some people were so anti PEDs and accusing people of cheating who never once failed a test (Pacquiao) and yet with Canelo it's "he wants to prove he's clean" lmao get fucking real battle! Dude got caught red handed for the drug that people use to shed off weight which canelo is notorious for. Every 60 and 30 day weigh in Canelo is always like 178 pounds while his opponents are down to 160-165 and every time without fail canelo magically drops 25 pounds in a few weeks looking ripped as fuck lol. But it's that Mexican meat right?

Let's be real here - GB/Canelo are using this as an opportunity to push the fight back, they are in no hurry ro fight the guy that 95% of people thought beat Canelo. They would rather Golovkin fight some other people and get beat up, maybe even lose so there won't need to be a rematch or to get a year older - GGG is 35. They already made him wait several years now they will want to make him wait another year.

Canelo/GB are examples of what is WRONG with boxing and this type of behavior should never be accepted, period.

If you honestly think they are using this as an excuse to push the fight back then you must be trippin. If Canelo was actually using, even prior to the first GGG fight, he would have been caught by then. He looked his biggest during the JCC Jr fight and in between that fight and the GGG fight it was 4 months. There would have been no room to stop the cycle and he would have been caught then. Plus, by now that drug would have made his conditioning worse not better. So why take it now? You sound like Malignaggi right now.

So now explain why GGG is also claiming Canelo illegally wraps his hands when NSAC was there? Or why NSAC has recently rejected GGG's next opponent for Cinco de Mayo? Listen to me when I said that whether or not Canelo did it intentionally, NSAC needs to step in and let it be known that the meat eating excuse is no longer any good. Therefor I'm not excusing Canelo on anything. Lets just make sure all fighters are clean and lets move forward.

HBO might have the most biased commentary I've ever seen for a fight lol it's almost like they had a script to suck Canelo off and even when Canelo is getting smoked, they still read the script like he's beasting lol

What's funny is I'm not even upset or annoyed with this anymore. I said exactly what was gonna happen with the people I was watching with before the fight even started. My exact words were "GGG will win 7 or 8 rounds clearly and the judges will give it to Canelo". After the bell rang in the 12th, we all knew GGG won at miminum 7, if not 8 rounds and my friends said no way he gets robbed. I said "watch Canelo will win, it won't even be a draw like last time". Sure enough it happened. lol

Yall seriously thought GGG won?? Canelo won 8rounds to 4. I'll even give GGG 5 rounds. GGG was gassed most of the fight. Look at his face. He got beat up. Yeah GGG threw a grip of punches but they weren't landing. Canelo looked on point first 9-10 rounds. First fight was it closer to a draw then this fight.

GGG didnt win. He let Canelo dictate the fight and no he didnt win the whole 2nd half of the fight. Dumbass GGG threw mostly jabs and landed at a terrible rate. He barely did anything the 1st half of the fight. What happened to his so called Tyson power? He has to be the most overrated boxer in a long time. Also Jim Lampley was biased as could be towards GGG. Roy Jones was neutral and Max was for Canelo.
GGG knows he doesnt even want to see Jacobs in the ring again

GGG didn't win. After round 7 I knew that there was no chance for him to win the fight by decision. He made it close in the last rounds, and Canelo was lucky that it was over after 12. Not sure if GGG just expected for Canelo to do the same he did in the first fight. Maybe he was surprised. No idea. But it was a terrible first half by him. Not one punch to the body. I was hoping it would be a draw, to make up for the first fight, but can't really argue about the decision. Canelo in his prime. GGG is 36 and about to retire. Time is against him. He could have been the greatest, but wasted too much time early on in his career, his fault or not.

The first fight will always remain one of the worst decisions in boxing history though imo.
