So, i recently rebought the stock headphones for my xbox 360.. While i was down there my brother went with me and ended up coppin the Turtle Beach X3 HeadSet.. I had my doubts about spendin $100 on xbox 360 headphones.. But when we got home and i actually put them on i was amazed.. They sound better then most surround sound systems which cost hella bank.. At the moment I was sorta pissed that i didnt jus cop a pair too while i was down there..

But after doing some research i'm glad i didnt.. Because now i've had some time to read up on the X3's, and other headset models.. After a little bit of googleing I limited my choices down to two headphones.. Turtle Beach’s Ear Force X4 and Tritton’s Ax Pro.. Turtle Beach X4's cost around $200 and the Tritton Ax Pro cost around $150..

I did some research on both headphones and read plenty of reveiws for each.. The Turtle Beach Ear Force x4 got reveiw's around 7-9/10, and the Trinton Ax Pro got around the same.. I was already leaning towards the Trinton headsets because they are the cheaper of the two, and after reading all the reveiws it seems like they're also just as good as the X4's.. But it was this last reveiw that finnaly made up my mind.

The reveiw compared both the headsets.. Heres a paragraph that pretty much sums the reveiw up for ya'
4thegirlgamer.blogspot.com reveiw said:
Serious gamers and audiophiles will no doubt be happy with Tritton’s Ax Pro for many different reasons. Consistent quality sound that is completely adjustable to your preference, noticeable bass boost and easily the biggest advantage: compatibility with all consoles and systems. This makes it a substantially better value at a price point of only $160 beating out the X4 easily.

So yeah before i go thru with spendin all that money on some headphones i want y'alls opinions.. Anyone got either of these headsets?

my little brother won these in a call of duty tournament

he ended up going back to the 50 dollar Turtle Beach X1's and gave me the Tritons.

I never tried the ones you posted, but personally i like the turtle beaches because they're lighter and have less wires. It's also easier to set the volume on the TB's. The tritons have 4 volume controls and the TB's have 1.

are you a airplane pilot or a gamer? them shits look bulky and nerdy as hell.
What are you the next big fashion designer? I'm gonna be in my room playing by myself, so i could care less what they "look" like.. imo they look comfortable and that's all that matters.

And yeah i'm buying them for tha same reason y'all are.. i be wakeing my brother up too much during the night, so i rly need some headphones.

I think you're compareing the cheaper trintons to the cheaper turtle beach.. I'm pretty sure these Trinton headsets got less wires then the X4's; or jus the same.. And i thought haveing more control over the volume is better then not haveing more control over the volume.

I have those blue Tritton's.. i got tired of the cords, and they were kinda hard to get adjusted right.. i picked up the X4's on amazon when they were on sale.. they were like $99 in the gold chest thing. There amazing, u can hear so much, there pretty light weight and the ear cups fabric doesnt make ur ears all sweaty like leather ones do. Really easy to adjust too.

I think either one would be a good choice. It comes down to if you want wireless headphones, the X4's, or to have more control over the volume and also pay less with the AX Pros.

The reason i said i didnt like the 4 volume knobs is cus i would get confused when changing the chat volume and stuff. But for movies and shit its coo.
