....awe hell....
last week when i was in anchortown, the paper reported how these police officers killed this man who had just robbed two stores at gunpoint....five police vehicles surrounded the suspect's vehicle, pulled it over and got the driver to get out, walked her backward and handcuffed the assailent at the patrol car behind the suspect's vehicle...five separate officers where at the scene, but three other officers were trying to convince the person in the passenger side to get out... but one of the officers ended up walking to the door of the vehicle and had a gun pointed at him by the suspect, so three officers unloaded three shots a piece (ended up sqeezin off 9 rounds) but only hit the suspect twice..once in the chest and once in the leg... the paper had reported that the procedures that the officers took were justified in that particular situation....
now the weekend before i left, i saw on the news how a state trooper pulled some one on the glenn hwy over for speeding, and asked the person to put up thier hands (the person inside the vehicle complied to the request), then the officer asked him to step out of the car (now, according to the paper, the person in the car had been involved in an accident and was still recovering from the injuries, so he walked with the aid of a cain)...he goes to grab his walking stick to get out and the officer demands to see his hands, runs up on him while he is still inside his car, sprays him with mace, then pulls out his gun and shoots him to death!
so, i have came to a new conclusion...forget going to college to be a teacher, instead i'm going to join the police force so
i can get away with murder!!! :devious:
