Sounds dope. Love that G-Funk $hit. It also looks like he's running Spectrasonics Trilogy & Atmosphere plugins. That's probably what he's using for his bass, lead and string/pad sounds.

Because it really is. If you understand music, you can do $hit like that. It's not supposed to be a major challenge, it's not a calculus math problem, it's music, it's suppose to be joyful, soulful, and just an exciting thing to create. It's not something you should sweet your balls for. Your supposed to be able to feel what your doing, therefore you can jam and create. For me personally, most of the stuff I create is done on the fly, yeah I might come up with a bassline initially, chords or some sort of melody that has a nice catch or rhythm to it, but usually what follows after is all shit I created on the fly by playing along to what I already have. Basically I don't like to think, I just do it and let my ears be the judge. Sometimes I come up with different variations of basslines, chords or whatever melodies that I all like, but slice them up and use them for a completely new different beat, there's just so much you can do.
