I've burned several but never had this error. It says:

"Unable to prepare data for recording: Prepare session failed: Transcoding of videos failed."

Did i just get a bad dvd rip? I have watched it already on my computer and it played through fine. I converted properly from .avi to DVD format, merged and added the video files. Hit burn and that is what I got.....can anyone help me diagnose? Here's a bit from the error log....

i just use convertxtodvd, doesn't really matter what format it's in. It will automatically convert/transcode and then burn. Can even add chapters etc
