ok, here's the situation...i named a price for a cd, and someone took that offer, pm'ed me, and i said i'd hold it for 'em...the next day, i get a message from someone saying that they'd give me $5 more for it...since i already agreed on a deal with the first dude, would it be wrong to ask him to match the price?
(and nothing has been sent by either of us yet)

You are not technically obligated to do either. You could put it up for auction. But $5 is a considerable amount more. If he offered like $1 more, fuck it. It depends, but me personally, I would go for the higher offer.

And besides, if the first guy is flaking or taking too long and the guy with more money is on point and more serious, I would go for that.
