having songs on myspace may be doing "something" but it's not being successfull that's for damn sure.

hell, i could have 5 songs on myspace if I wanted to. so myspace songs mean dick. a myspace page isn't shit in my opinion, and i don't mean to come off as disrespectful Cool Nutz, I'm just sayin......

I see all these fucking people sayin CHECK OUT MY MYSPACE....

Yeah ok...where's the FUCKING album then? Oh, it's only online for download? Yeah, they ain't doin shit. Online albums are lame to me.

Unless someone prints and presses an album, in my personal opinion, they haven't done very much. Yeah it's cool to say you got songs on myspace, but what the fuck is that really gonna do? NOTHING. Unless Dr. Dre happens to listen to your shit and likes it, having a song on myspace is just to think you're doing something when you aren't.

Until the artist puts out a full fledged album, they haven't done shit. But I'm also critical and cynical, but when I don't rap and I can do that bullshit (have songs on myspace) then others need to step their game up or shut the fuck up and sit back.

Just my 2 cents...

look out for BOSS UP.....

I think myspace page is a GREAT outlet to get yourself known and muzik too. Some artists are only doing features and have limited material, but not a situation. So if they put it out on myspace and katz chek it out...you might get a fan.

As for me, I've had meet alot of artists recently. I met up with alot of Inglewood, Compton, Watts, Hawthorne, Pomona, Pacoima, Pasendena and San Diego artists. Some dont have a situation to make records, just a few songs written down. So on their page you get an idea of how they sound. Thru Myspace!!!

Since katz dont have a situation, they kant do muzik full time. Which even some have given up their careers just bekuz they've struggled for so long to not get recognition.

But once we all met up, it created a situation for them to put their talent on. Alot of great talent is not heard bekuz there is no outlet to guide them.
-----------

What up Cool Nutz. I'm Kenny Mack's homey Rog.

All I'm saying, is you aren't going to blow up from Myspace. And having a song on there, isn't something to be overly proud of. Having a song or 5 on myspace does not mean you are a successful artist.

Yeah, you may be an "artist" cause you did a few songs, but my point was Myspace isn't going to get you from no fans to selling 100,000 records.

I wasn't saying it's stupid to have a page, what I am saying, is that it's stupid to ONLY have a Myspace page and to expect any real success.
