JBL isn't top 5 yet. He wouldn't even know how to be a heel commentator if it wasn't for Jesse Ventura and The Brain. A few more years and he will be up there, but he hasn't put in the work Ventura and Heenan did. JR is the man who was there to help guide the transformation from wrestling to sports entertainment. I've been watching JR for 20 years, he might not be the best to you now, but he's earned his spot.
