if you ask me, the overall crime rate doesn't determine how dangerous a city is... the overall violent crime rate does... and you'lle get a different order of cities on that list if it were just violent crimes

but then again, i don't know what categories are involved when the term crime rate is brought up

Sad thing is people get a big boner when their city makes one of those lists, I bet people in East Palo Alto are glad their isn't as many crack heads and as many shootings and robberies as there were back in the 90s and its a half decent place to live. Its not perfect but not nearly as bad as it used to be.

I guess the government just don't give a shit until white people start getting killed in these cities on a regular basis, sad but 100% true.

Thats because New Orleans had the highest murder rate this year before the storm. New Orleans was the only city with over 100 murders, and they had more than 200. Thats how they made it.
