For an Independent album that's pretty good but its still fucked up how he's getting blackballed still. In a couple a months though I know ima tecca fy my school haha. Havent listened to the radio in a few months so any east coast cats heard Tech on the radio yet?

^^ right, i aint saying its bad.. 30.000 is good, cause he's independent. but i hope at some point, his airplays will go up, or his video will get played, so he can get them sales a bit more up.. cause its diffenetly hiphop album of the year!

i was hoping word of mouth & the people who couldn't get a copy because of stores running out the first week, would result in some stronger sales the second week. oh well, wishfull thinking.
I was watching some of the live performances at the AMA awards show last night & couldn't help but think, "wow this sounds horrible, this is music?". Tech actually makes music that sounds good. I dont see how people dont get it.

Unless...they have something up their sleeve....and even so, it would have to be HUGE.

I think Strange didnt go about this album the right way...they waited WAY too long to promote.

Also, I think alot of people were buzzing off that Beast track on Madden. But then the album didnt come out till more than a year later...I think if they were able to put out the album sooner, we'd see better results.

Now im thinking maybe Tech should have waited for Twistas verse on that track, guaranteed exposure...also if it was even possible, he should have waited for the Em verse...and you know about 500,000 suburban kids would have bought into that shit in an instant if they knew Em was on there...

i'm thinking this is the first time that ICP's first week numbers are actually LOWER than Tech's. two things you have to realize though: 1) this is a little remix CD the clowns dropped. not a new album or anything big, and 2) aside from hyping it on their websites, there was no promotion. no magazine ads, commercials, nothing. decent debut considering all that. if anything, Tech needs more promotion now than ever, or his ass won't even be in the 200 come next week. i dont think Bout Ta Bubble is gonna pop now; what about a new single?

gotta see how Kottonmouth Kings fare next week (they dropped Hidden Stash 3- a 2 CD+DVD set yesterday).
