I got the plug on this old school tape, real Short fans will know what I'm talking about, the ones he and Freddy B used to make in his bedroom back in the day in Oakland. So I decided to share this with ya'll since its some classic shit.

Let me know what ya'll think, to me it sounds like its just a Freddy B solo but its still a cool listen. Anyone here own or has heard any other of their tapes?

Short did mention in a few interviews that they used to just take instrumentals from other songs, exactly how dudes are doing now with mixtapes, and record over that, so it could have well been a beat from an old 70's or 80's song. I was hoping someone might reckognise it.

But they could have made it too.

oh by the way, i know the recording is low quality and the beat volume overlaps the vocals, but if you play around with the EQ functions on your stereo you can fix it up to hear the vocals better. just a tip

He had Whodini-instrumentals a lot. But I don't ´know what it is.
