No. Don West and Mike Tenay are the annoucers. I think Paul E. managed Mean Mark Callous (Undertaker) in WCW.

this is not WCW man, i know its confusing cause you see all former WCW employees but this is NWA-TNA in like 2003....Paul Bearer was never in WCW thats why Tony Schiavone says their paths never crossed. I dont know how Paul Bearer ended up in TNA but i think his run was just a short one...

lol everytime John Cena comes out during raw michael cole will say something about THIS IS MONDAY NITE RAW or ur watching the longest episodic show on television or somethin lol . i have these shits on dvr it happens everytime without fail . i dunno about yall but i am really sick and tired of the lawler/cole announce team they both have terrible acting skills when it comes to looking surprised about the shit they say , they act like pussies , lawler doesnt even root for the bad guy anymore he is just as bad as cole now , he acts like a pussy. i remember jesse the body and gorilla monsoon at least the body would announce in favor of the heel and break down the psychology of the heel and gorilla or mcmahon would do the same for the faces , its dope like that and gives both perspectives . now its just sheep ass michael cole and sheep ass lawler doin sheep ass announcing with wwe execs all in their headset i bet . they hardly even call the match like when MVP does his ballin thing , cole will be talkin about the PPV or soemthing , i remember when the rock did the peoples elbow theyd call it the most electrifying move in sports entertainment as he was doing it and shit , just really selling the move and making the rock look good . shit like that u know ? i hate michael cole he is so predictable , i love looking up videos on youtube of him getting owned its hilarious . i havent noticed the smackdown announce team being painful to watch like that

they hardly even call the match like when MVP does his ballin thing , cole will be talkin about the PPV or soemthing , i remember when the rock did the peoples elbow theyd call it the most electrifying move in sports entertainment as he was doing it and shit , just really selling the move and making the rock look good . shit like that u know ?

When the moves aren't called, that's Michael Cole's fault and only Michael Cole's fault. Jerry Lawler is a color commentator, Michael Cole is the play-by-play guy. In other words, Cole is supposed to be describing the action and Lawler is supposed to talk about other shit to keep the broadcast entertaining. Kinda like how Pat Sumerall and Al Michaels called all the plays during their broadcasts while John Madden talked about other shit and explained things to keep you interested.

The reason you recall them selling the People's Elbow and doing a good job calling the match back in the day is because JIM ROSS was the play-by-play guy. JR is the best there is and it was a terrible idea to move him to Smackdown.

Lawler and JR TOGETHER was a very good team and should not have been broken up.

All commentators do is talk about what they're told to talk about. If Vince McMahon wanted Micheal Cole to talk up MVP, he'd tell him to do so.
