Rapper Tone Loc wasn't doing the Wild Thing when he collapsed early this morning during a performance in North Florida, apparently suffering a seizure due to hot weather.

Tone, born Anthony Terrell Smith, was taken away from the Capt'n Fun Beach Club in an ambulance after succumbing to the heat, according to a spokesman for the Escambia County Sheriff's Department.

The singer had made several comments about the heat throughout his show, according to the Pensacola News Journal, and has suffered seizures in the past.

Loc, who made it big with '80s hits like 'Funky Cold Medina' and 'Wild Thing,' has also appeared in several films including 'Ace Ventura: Pet Detective' and 'Heat.'

I aint witnessed anyone have seizures due to hot weather, and I was in Desert Shield/Storm and Iraq...In Iraq when it was over 100 degrees I was at this little building they set up for meetings of local leaders. They had a wall unit A.C. I asked a guy how come its not turned on..i said it is hot. He said this is nothing, next month it will feel like fire coming from the earth....he was right when it became 130 degrees I was convinced. Anyways we are in that weather during the hottest part of the day with heavy camouflage with sleeves down, and flak jackets. that shit will make you sweat faster then sitting on your grandmas couch with the plastic covers. Also if you are in a LAV( light armored vehicle) or something like that you ride inside with the hatches closed sometimes Imagine being dressed as I said in 130 Degree weather in a closed armored vehicle.

He did a show at the San Manuel Indian Casino in San Bernardino about a week and a half ago with M.C. Hammer, Coolio, and Slick Rick. My brother went to that show. I need to ask him how it was, the lucky bastard.
M.C. Hammer making a comeback? Heard he has a new reality show too. Well that's where the money is at, if you get an opportunity, might as well take it.

Yeah Alot the rappers/singers from the past dont have to work a day job bc they stiill getting paid off hits they had 20 years ago. some just do a quick 2 month tour and make more then what most average mofos make in a whole year.
