You gone sit here and say he got no talent? Every mutha fucka alive is on Tupac's dick. If you listen to some of Tomyy Wright's song you know every song coming from the fuckin heart. Thats what I love bout his music. Gangsta Pat had one good CD. Homicydal Lifestyle was his best CD and the best songs were done by Lil Tec. Deadly Verses was tight tho. Check out Tommy Wright's song Suicide, tell me you cant relate. He spit the real from the heart, you can feel it in his delivery. Its your opinion, but man I think he raw.

Tommy Wright III and Playa Fly have always been my favorite outta Memphis. He's a real cool cat, a tight producer (although his drums are real simple), and a tight rapper. He's real underground, but I love the sound of it. He sent me some music and posters. I also heard he's on the run, which is sad, cuz I dont think we'll hear any music from him for a while.

I talked to my homie who got me in contact with T-Rock. He said that Tommy Wright was fronted drug money to get the CDs out, but he never paid it back. So there is a price on his head.

it seemed like they gave up on that Fly..it turned out to just be a bunch of old shit and interludes, with a couple new songs that he wasn't even really on besides those ones that have been out for a while. Hopefully now that he's outta jail he can put out a new one with all new songs.

He's not out of jail, he's doing a 7 year sentence for armed robery and has completed 2 years. He's been denied paroll a buncha time and don't go back up until Oct 2003. As far as Fly2k, it was fly's manager who put it out, not fly...

frenchie knows his stuff, genesis was just a compilation, not a solo album. but shit if u wanna get technical, "on the run" wasnt much of a solo album either. its a shame about tommy, cuz he's really the only memphis rapper besides playa fly that i still listen to. tommy's style sticks out like a sore thumb amongst all the three 6 clones.

another thing i always liked about tommy's shit was that u could tell it was all super low budget, but it still banged. listen to the vocals, they sound like they were recorded on a kareoke machine using a $10 radio shack mic. but it worked. all the early stuff (like the stuff on genesis) was all from 4 track recordings. alot of these rappers now cant even make a decent album in a top of the line studio. tommy had somethin alot of rappers dont.... TALENT.
