i don't really have anything to say to phil....we aren't talking about players who had just a few good years in them then bounced....i.e. gant, klesko, etc.

we are talking about glavine.......he might not be at the height of his career...but he is a decent, quality type of pitcher...

..i like the pick-up

Probably man.We don't spend chips....that's one of the reasons Pinella left. We're right there in July, but owners scared to spend loot. Why can't we get Thome or Glavine? We sell out 47,000 people every game? That's why I lost love for baseball.....To much greed involved. We might holler at some Cuban who's off the hook though, but watch the Yanks snag'em.

Oh fuck no, i mean you can always dream but that doesnt mean it will come true. You got to think Glavine's getting up there in age 37, and he posted an 18-11 record not his best numbers but also not a bad year. Personally I think the Mets are overrated, and they really showed it last year with their overblown salary and lack of production and being consistent. They finished dead last in their division, but I definitely think they will improve but not by the high standards people are expecting. You may say Tom Glavine is the final piece to the puzzle, if anything Art Howe is and it will be interesting to how fast the team will respond to him. I think the Mariners got shit locked down, whether we bring back Moyer or not we can bring in another decent arm, and you cant fuck with our bullpen. We got a solid lineup to from Ichiro down to Randy Winn, too bad the M's and Mets don't play that would be an interesting matchup.

If anyone is done its Tom Glavine, he isnt gonna be the answer for the mets. Just watch next season when the mariners make it the playoffs and the mets fall down again.

Yea ok!! Peep game its all about pitchin.

Glavine's arrival boosts rotation!

With the pending agreement with All-Star left-hander Tom Glavine, Al Leiter and Pedro Astacio, the Mets' rotation in 2003 should be viewed as one of the main strengths of the team and one of the top staffs in the National League More >

GOT EM!!!
