Wounded Knee was about the racist white US Government massacring 300 Sioux indians in an attempt to capture Chief Big Foot here in South Dakota. The massacre happened about 2 weeks after they attempted to capture but murdered Chief Sitting Bull, after Sitting Bull they went after Big Foot.

The massacre pretty much ended the Indian wars in the late 1800's.
