yo man there is a winamp plugin wit which u can format all ur mp3 (juss rip the cd or 9 & 18 to mp3) to instrumentals......to bad i forgot the name but shit was sicc...maybe u wanna ask at the winamp forum.....

as far as i remember u can choose diferent things to do:
- put the voices out
- make the voices "lower" (so u wont hear em much)
- put the instrumental away/make acapella

shit it had a pretty wired name

sup...well i tried to get on winamp forum but cant and i also created a username but still cant post mes. but i asked my boy and he told me a program called SOUND FORGE and its a program that can make samples and create beats and shit and maybe remove voices from the song but im not sure...is it this one you talkin bout ? sound forge...

nah it wasnt sound forge, but SF ic coo, too.
@amaretto: yes it can do all those things u just have to put on a good sampling rate like 256 kb/s it wont work under 128 kb/s (and even wit 128 there are more than enuff errors), so if u gonna rip up them to songs, rip em in the best quality u can!
