I wanted to make a comment about your reviews man, because I'm really not agree with your way to judge and to criticize albums. I quote you : " The beat is tight and I like the background effects", " I'm not really feeling this track too much " ; " I'm not really feeling either of them ". Man what the fuck is that shit ??? I don't give a fuck about if you feelin the beat or how u like the background effects or whatever the fucc I want FACTS, I want you to come up with REAL arguments, with an OBJECTIVE view on the album you judging man, NOT your PERSONAL opinion man. Otherwise you could come up and be like " yo X-Raided's new album is wack as fuck " just coz you don't like him personally you know what I'm sayn' ?? It's the same reasoning logical. When you review albums you gotta give a OBJECTIVE AND MUSICAL-BASED arguments man, if you say this beat is good then give TRUE arguments like " Raided come up with a good, well synchronized flow, he rocks the beat hard " ; " the loop is original and catchy with a studied melody and accompaniments " things like that I couldn't give you real examples you know.We talking about MUSIC man, not personal opinions feel me. But I don't give a damn about if you feeling the album or not man lol, if you would be a punk-rocker-rap-hater and you'd review this album you'd be like " wtf is that " you know what I'm sayin' ??? Thats the same principle. Be OBJECTIVE damn.

I appreciate your comments and I understand that you want more indepth reviews, but the way I review albums is the way I review albums. I would love to go super, super in depth with every single song on an album, but to tell you the truth I don't have the time to spend. You're got to understand that I'm not getting any $$$ out of doing these reviews. I do them in my spare time, and most of them I buy with my own money. I try to put as much thought and feeling into each song I listen to, but I can't get super indepth because franky I don't have the time. It's takes me about an hour (depending on the # of tracks) for each album I review and that's after listening to each song at least 2 or 3 times before sitting down and going through track by track to review each song.

I think the way I do my reviews now uses a little objectivity in them, as well as just getting down to the point on which songs are the best and which ones are skippers. I appreciate the input though and trust me I will try to continue to improve the way I review albums, but at the same time just think about it from my point of view and how much time I spend and can spend on each review.

Once again thanks for the input, I'll try to incorporate some of the things you're talking about in future reviews.

ahhh hell nah, reviews can NEVER be facts. no such thing. I think Blutarski should be using the same method he has been for the past couple years or however long hes been doing it. Reviews are ALL about opinions and he dont need to get in depth about every song... shiiiit.. ill just go listen to the song myself instead of read an essay about it.

i agree with psilo its all about opinions...Blue Print by Jay Z got 5 mics in the Source and 2 in Rolling Stones...every reviewer got their own preferences and opinion...for example I like Bluntarski's reviews but when I read them I keep in mind certain reviews and critiques he's done in the past and decide for myself if its a must copp album. Everyone got their own biases...shit Ive done a number of reviews on this board and every Quinn, Yukmouth, Mac Mall CD I have reviewed has had a high rating because those are some of my favorite artists and I feel nearly anything they put out. As long as he aint lying its all good...I seen him criticize artists im sure he likes so I think he has the credibility to post good reviews.

Yeah, you can never ever review an album based on facts. If one person thinks it is a creative beat and the other thinks it's an awfull beat, who is the one with the right facts? Musical interest isn't even based on facts, it's based on feelings. And that's what reviewers do, base their reviews on feeling. What you need to do, if you want something close to "facts", is find a reviewer that shares your taste in music. Then you will agree on most he says and think he has the "facts" straight. Ain't no such thing as facts when in comes to music man, it's got to come from the heart.

Just an input from another reviewer!
