im gonna be in sac looking at sac state next weekend and being the 6'3 287 lb. human being that i am, im wondering what food is good around that area and also where i can get a cheap motel.....thanks

well if you are going to be lookin' at Sac State, there are HELLA resturants, and bars by there. Thai food, Mexican, Japanese, Chimese Buffet, Mongolian BBQ, Chilis, Chevys, TGI Fridays, Outback, Tokyo Fro's, Tony Romas.....all on Howe Ave.

If you want the best Mexican Food in Sac...go to El Novillero Resturant, 4216 Franklin Blvd.
(916)456-4287 it's off of 99 south and 12th ave exit.

Telly wise...You can stay near downtown, off of I-5 north and richards blvd. exit...they have cheap spots, and it's just a freeway ride (5 min.) to Sac State.

or...you can stay off of 50 east and Howe ave./power inn exit...just go to right as you exit (power inn) and you'll see some spots...not sure the name, but it's just a straight shot down Howe to all of the hot spots...

there are PLENTY of spots in that area, in all price ranges. don't drink and drive at night on Howe, plenty of po-po creepin' lookin' for the drunk college kids...if you're gonna be there on a thursday, go peep out tokyo fro's...college night....lots of lovely ladies

Tower Cafe in downtown is my favorite dinner in sac. Broadway and 16th. take 80/50 to sac and get off at 16th street, go straight at the stop light and make a left on 15th. go a block or two up and it's right there across from Tower Records. beware of crossdressers.

also downtown, hit up Hukilau. it's sort of a Hawaiian/Asian/America trendy place. drink prices are really nice on the wallet. it's on the corner of 16th and O.
