who do you trust for your news information? if the american media is nothing but lies to cover the evil trails of our leaders, then the foreign press must be substantially more reliable. care to give me a reason why? besides their not so subtle hatred and jealousy of our power and resources.

None of them fully. Unless you can be everywhere to see everything for yourself you can't expect the truth as you would percieve it. They all toss their own propaganda in the mix. The real test is the ablity to pick out fact in the "news". And the other trick is to notice the way fact is manipulated. Hard things to do.

Only reason i turn to foreign outlets for media more often than domestic is because they cover international news a lot better. A wider scope of issues, etc. Domestic media focuses on one thing at a time internationally and never touches the rest. I like to know about what is happening in a number of countries in the world.

And media locally is just bullshit. I don't know about where everyone else lives, but local news is bullshit here. And domestic new is fairly poor on covering the events of the nation as well.

You know the more i think about it i wonder, what the fuck are they doing with all this time? They spit a lot of shit, but how come i only get a little bit of something? Spittin lots of shit, but little international coverage, spittin a lot of shit, but little domestic coverage.

Domestic media is wack!

It's not just necessarily America. No matter what country you go to, you are going to see a bias media, usually one that repeats what the government wants them to say. In many countries, the government runs the newspapers and media. That's why I try to read from a variety of sources so that I can have an open mind and see issues from many different angles. Then I can make a proper judgment of the situation. In my opinion, if you only look at one source of news, you will become ignorant because you will be brainwashed to repeat only the opinion of that source.
I don't know what I wrote makes any sense, its hard to write it in words.

no what you wrote makes PERFECT sense. most people (especially on THIS site) talk about things they know NOTHING about.

does the american government run the american media? yes. if it doesnt explain to me why all of your media outlets (major not local or indie) are controlled by people who hold membership with the council on foreign relations and the trilateral commision.

who cares about foreign media?

So what if you don't got a satellite? You tellin me I've been livin in La-La land my whole freakin life? Shit, I believe everything I see and hear, and before you come at me all sideways with some dumbshit. Remember what I learned and believed from wacthin the Arnold Schwarzanegger God on my magic window that speaks to me... "If it bleeds we can kill it." So unless you don't be bleeding when you get shanked ummm... watch yo' mothafuckin mouth. Feel me? You will if you don't. Potna.
