First of all, I think Philipino people are hella cool. I used to work with some cats from the Phillipines and they were hilarious.
But my question is why do some people from the Phillipines constantly say the Philipines. I was just dealing with some guy from the Phillipines at my job and within a 8 minute conversation he said the Phillipines like 84 times. Now I'm not saying all Phillipino people do this but why do some do this.

The question is why do some Phillipino people keep finding a way to say "the Phillipines" over and over again like a broken record.
This is something I've noticed although it might sound strange the way I worded the question.

Naw, I didn't deny my affiliation. I just said I was Filipino too and for some odd reason they chased me. I didn't know why, until a few days later.
