Time to upgrade!

I'm bout 2 trade in my Yamaha RS7000 for a Motif ES6..
I went from the RM1x to the 7000 and now on to the Motif.
I'm feelin the Mlan expansion, and the fact that Yamaha purchased Steinberg(read it here). I'm searching for a mlan expansion , a firewire card(XP 2.4 ghz)and the mlan8p,for a reasonable price. Anyone? Also, would I have to up my RAM with this type of upgrade? Currently I got 512mb.

You want to upgrade the ram on the computer or motif es? The more ram the better but make sure you don't have a mobo that wigs out when you use more than a gig of ram. The motif es CAN take a gig of ram.......the more the better.......
