I was reading the Bret Hart thread and thought: I wonder how far Owen Hart would have gone in the biz?

I always thought he was good enough to eventually be main event status.

but would he have won the WWE title?

I think 99-00 would have been his year what year did he die?

As much of a legend Bret is, I think Owen had more charisma and personality. He was really starting to show it with the whole Blue Blazer gimmick, joking around and all that...

That is a really nice piece of merch...^^

My biggest memory of Owen was the fact that he always had a dry ass mouth and white spittle on the corners of his mouth. Didn't matter if it was a promo or a match, dude foamed at the corners of his fuckin' mouth and spit all over himself.

Here's a dope Owen site complete with Owens "ghost" (shaky cell phone pic that results in white lines) in the rafters of the KC arena, 45 minute A&E video, Bret talking about it on WCW, and even Bret on "Contact: Talking With the Dead".

Enjoy.

Edit: I just watched the A&E thing and pretty much watched everything on the page and if you have the time to sit down and watch the shit... you'll enjoy it for sure. Just be ready to call your family members and tell them you love them. Lol.

Stampede Wrestling was my earliest wrestling memories and Owen was my favortie then. He continued to be one of my favorites through out his wwe days as well. He would have been champ someday and he deserves to be in the hall of fame as well. Maybe Bret will induct him this year.

Yep. Best one was his post match inteview at WM 10 right after he beat Bret. His mouth foam and Kurt Angles boogers tie for most memoralbe "you got a little something right there" moments.
