These r some of my thoughts that came up on another thread on another board so I figured i'd turn it into an official discussion about Dr. Dre, since his album should be coming out sumtime soon in tha next 15 years

Fuck dre, and i dont say that cuz hes a clown and cant write his own shit and has other people make up gangster raps for him, i say it cuz hes fucking watching the westcoast die while hes making fucking beats for people in NY and shit. How is he gonna watch the movement he birthed, die? Im guessing when detox comes out its not gonna be that all westcoast album like the chronic's were, u kno hes gonna hypin up all those aftermath interscope g-unit fools instead of putting his own coast on. He doesnt care about the westcoast or where he came from.

and y does his label have to include no one from the fucking west? He can make just as much money out here. He turned his back on us even tho people out here would die to hear his music. He started this big gangsta rap shit out here and didnt stay around for it just ducked out...and watched it die. I would have more pride in it if i started my own movement then to just let it die

I bought all his CDs and almost every CD he touched when i was 12...and so did pretty much everyone out here...we don owe him shit.

Bishop Lamont who is from Inglewood is signed to Aftermath, Dre was on Split Personality with E-A-Ski a couple years ago, he's producing some shit on Snoop's new album, and Fred Wreck & Ya Boy have been in the studio recording with him. Plus he put out The Game's album just last year that went multi-platinum. What more do you want? He's been working with the West, you just may not be paying attention to it. There are no hand-outs in this industry, and you got to prove your worth to have opportunities presented to you. It shouldn't be his responsibility to babysit and look out for a whole region.

Don't forget He made the Beat for Get Stupid Remix Mac Dre. Game, Mac Dre, and Dr. Dre were talking about making an album, Mac Dre died and all those hopes and talks died along with him. Would you have a different opinion if Game and Mac Dre did an album together with Dre Producing it?

How can you put the whole reputation of the west solely on the shoulders of Dre when there so many other artists out here? If Dre's not doing what you think he's supposed to do, (then according to your logic) then they aren't either. Either they are all just not getting their shine on a at a level respectable to you or they just ain't getting their shine on, period. Making some shit Dre's responsibility is a far reach.

Aright aright... I didnt know most of that. Good Facts. To me they show were his side job until we blow then hes gonna fuck with us hella again...but honestly if he wants to participate in the movement whatever his personal reasons r I WELCOME HIM. Especially to fuck with ya boy and give him those hard ass beats that he needs.

there probably arent too many west coast artist Dr. Dre is looking for. He already gots the tightest rapper alive on his team. Rappers in the West hate on eachother too much thats y i think he doesnt care. If beats are the problem then why doesnt anybody on this fuckin website start showcasing some skills for a start. I feel like this about Dre so many Rappers wanna bitch and complain about Dre not fucking with them but shit ya'll were fine without Dre before hand. if folks waited to work with Dre before they put a cd out no music would be out now days. Do it yourself and quit relying on Dre to make ya blow up.
