90.1 fm has now added rap to the radio station from 3:00 am till 6:00 am on thursday night/friday morning ..yes it is not the greatest time slot ..but if they can get enuff listeners they are willing to give it a better time slot ...and yes they are playing local artist on there so far they have hobo tone,court dog,s2theb,r.e.s.,lejo and a couple other local cats...and all the spins are counted to as long as they have publishing ..so those up at the late hour listen and call in and request some of are local talent ..if this takes off like they hope ..are town might have a better chance at making it

I useta listen to that station a year or 2 ago. There was a show on there called Massive Mondays. It came on at 10pm. They played mostly East Coast rap though.

Its good to hear that they're gonna play local stuff. The time slot sucks, but its better than nothin'.

Damn, I usually wake up around 6:00. By that time, it'll be over.

jah! I remember Massive Mondays....i'm til at least 3am everynight except thursday night when i get up early(8am) for work on fridays to get out earlier. But like Mizery said....better than nothing. Glad to see someone is tryin to show some love again. Why did 103 stop doing the hometown spotlight on friday nights? Not making the money they wanted? I remember after a while, all they played was Tech. Nobody was sending shit in to get played. They even played this wack ass song by kids up at Passeo. It was something like their school song being rapped. Lame. Who wants to start a local radio station with me? haha

I think heads should really try to support this radio show if you just happen to be up at that awful time slot. maybe if enough peeps tune in they'll give Kool Wayne a better slot thus better exposure for hometown talent.KC-ya

yup of the the more that listen ..the better chance we have at getting it a decent time slot ..so if u are up peep that shit out
