just got it in the mail. i subscribe to it
for this reason; to get a sense of
what the mainstream media has to say
about thangs, & to pass the time on
the shitter. & to TIME magazine's
credit, (for y'all paranoid conspiracy
theorists out there, or liberal hippies
in general) the magazine has not been
100% pro-war/republican/bush as some
might assume. (though there is a lot of
weight towards the x-files theory: if you
tell em what they think they know, they'll
forget about it....)

MY POINT: being the production level in
this issue. havn't seen an issue of TIME
w/ this much gloss & shine value in years:
advertisments in slick paper, card-stock,
fold-out pages in the middle of big articles,
etc. like having big slick commercials in the
middle of the war broadcast, which hasn't
happened yet, who knows if it will. imma
hope not; this aint the superbowl, though
the bush clan might say otherwise.

AS IN: the advertisers have pulled out all stops
on this 1, being the big WAR issue. & they got
ads in the middle of articles about the war, etc.
which should ruffle some feathers. AS IN: the
big money machine is in action, making what it
will off of this war, regardless.

AT ANY RATE: take a look at this issue &
peep game. seems like there was a lot of
advertising managers at hard work behind
the scenes this week. leaves a bad taste
in my mouth, trying to maximize as much as
they can off the almighty dollar in the wake
of war. then again, were that my job description,
wouldn't i do the same?

oh, yeah: some of y'all need not reply, as y'all are
brainwashed bitches beyond redemption; as y'all
just ain't qualified to hold conversation on this
level. sounds like an asshole thang to say
but then i'm just acting like y'all in that regard:
anybody who don't agree w/ me deserves to DIE.
my case rested.

overall I can sponsor Time and Newsweek. I have read some very intresting articles in the past, a lot of them were very liberal and some very conservitive. The magazines definitly gives a different spin on the hottest topics of the month, more so then what newspapers or the news can offer.

However I just go to Time.com, instead of paying money to read the articles. Or I just go to the library and dread this shit for free.

I haven't looked at this weeks issue I will when I get a chance though...
