ya'll youngstas need to study your bay rap history and know that legends exist all around the bay, before the mob figaz, the team, frontline, etc, cats such as short, imp, dangerous dame, pooh man, 415, etc etc paved the way for many artists that are from the bay today. What come around go around, these legends had the bay on fire back in the day. Pretty much all of them on majors. It's about to go down again with the new cats signing to majors cause the bay is hot once again and you can't deny it. Matter of fact we never stop being hot, just in a slump and everybody was stealing our slang and taking it to a major level without giving due respect. But the world gone see real soon.

My younger brother used to live a block down Hayes from "Mo Music Fo The Peoples" and I stopped in a couple times in the mid 90's. Everytime he'd pick my brain for what I was feelin and give me the 411 on which new projects to look out for. I thought I knew a lot back then but Showtime would have my head spinning. Also, I was only picking up 2-3 CD's at a time then.....I wish I could go back and raid that tape section under the glass...little did I know then how hard those would be to find later. He'd always send me out of there w/ extras and promos to.....Showtime, thank you for showing a customer luv when you didn't have to say a word.
