You shouldn't have to adjust your game to deal with a situation that would never happen in the NFL though. Have you ever seen a QB run 30 yards backfield in the NFL? Have you ever seen a QB throw a 60-70 yard bomb while running, let alone running in the opposite direction?
I understand that people will abuse whatever exploits they can, but this has been going on in football games for a very long time, and EA has done nothing to address it. 2K plays differently, as you are supposed to let the QB do his 3 or 5 foot step before running out of the pocket.
You can always tell while playing a 2K game that the guy you're playing is used to plying Madden, as he'll immediately run 20 yards backfield every single play.
