it sucks that tv's these days dont have the video channel on the tv set no more, cuz i lost my tv controller and now i cant play my xbox360.... i bought a new controller but that one still didnt work, none of the codes worked with my tv, that sucks

i got a RCA universal remote for 7 dollars at walgreens and that shit dont work on it, i tried to use my brothers remote on it and that didnt help either, not even the menu has the thing.... and my tv isnt old its like a couple months old

the only draw of the 360 is how it looks on an hdtv....everything else is just a slight upgrade to the orig xbox...his point is get a better tv

there's nothing wrong with a sylvania, it seems like most universal remotes only work with the popular brands, BUT if sylvania is listed on the codes....i don't see why it shouldn't work.

i bet you i can figure out the problem(parents, teachers, friends always have a proglem between video settings and i always seem to figure it out).

If i were you i would go to BEST BUY/ CIRCUIT CITY/ FRYS and pick up a decent remote control(don't go for the cheapest brand/price this time). When you open it don't destroy the packaging, try and code it and see if it works.....if not just put it back and get a refund.

ive played in the livin room in hd a couple times but i have to have the room hella dark cuz the glare from all windows dont let me see shit..... i think ill call sears or sumtin to give me a remote lol
