This list is false. Rockefeller is worth over 100 billion dollars.

Well Gates' foundation is donating over $1.5 _billion_ every year and that's not including Gates' personal donations, he's a multi-billion donator in charity and when he dies, his money is going mostly to charity, "only" few millions are left his kids. (Which is kinda small part when u got wealth of ~$50 billion)

So I wouldn't say he's not doing anything, few thousand million dollars every year is a fucking big amount of money basically coming from the one person..

How much yall donating as a percentage from your income? I bet many aren't giving anything.

And all of those are little money when u look at the fact that USA military budget in 2006 is $470 billion dollars alone, that's way more than next twenty biggest weapon budgets on the list together.. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/ca/WorldMilitarySpending.jpg

Gates' whole wealth (it's good to keep in mind that someones's wealth does not equal the amount of cash he got) is a ~1/10 of USA yearly military budget... Doesn't seem so big amount suddendly..

WoW, If I had billions of Dollars, best believe there wouldn't be alot of poor american or foreign Children. That my friends is why, we are not rich, greedy ass people want all that money for themselves, instead of others. Sad. Give me a Billion Dollars, and all I need is One Million, then the rest I can divide unto the Poor. SMH

I don't see anything wrong with how much those people have...or what they give.

I don't give anything...so who am I to judge.

Its not about giving. its about the fact that an individual can make that much money as an individual than millions of people getting it. its an example of the disparity between rich and poor. and, we respect it, while poor people suffer.

^no, but i dont really support capitalism either...i just think we've been conditioned to accept this. why do 3 people have any more right, or deserve that much money more than millions? what does that say about how we view human life? im not saying those 3 have to give their money away, im just saying its fucked up how it go to be this way.

Nah Homie, while Paisas, mojados, hard working field chinos and other races are working their asses of to make a buck ,these putos are at home sippin on some Piña Colada while they could be giving money to the poor. Bill Gates Donated 900 Million for some stupid ass research, why couldn't he have given it to the Red Cross or Poor.

Some then will say, how the hell do you know they're not doing enough, look at the damn statistics. If you're at home will 45 Billion dollars in your damn bank Account while, tens of millions of Children and Women suffer from Hunger and Poverty, then you're not doing enough.

I'm sure his train of thought is to treat the root of the problem, rather than the symptoms.

What evidence do you have to support your claim that the HIV research that Gates supports is useless? That is a rather bold claim...
