I was there (Stretch) uninvited and even had to pay as I did last year as well. Last year I tried to get TC on one of the panels and was asked who has he worked with. So I know there are some things that need to be changed about the conference but it is a great thing and we need to support it. I know that I could offer more information then 75% of the panelist but I realized today by complaining I'm contributing to the problem. So let's support and not question why we weren't invited.

So you want to support pplz that aint supportin you???

Thats sounds kinda of backwards to me folks...If I was in yall spot I would just say fuck it and do it movin...sometimes in life you got to make your own avenues and find your own path to where ur tryna go...fuk it to me its u show no love then u get no love...its a give and take kinda thing...espeacially if ppl is tryna come up together

Ok, so if TC. Indecent and Djfresh/shabang weren't invited who the fuck was?

I mean the bay is 80% underground....but damn...TC not invitied?

If you have to ask who TC has worked with....you shouldn't even be involved with a "so called" bay area producers conference....cmon now.

Next they gonna ask...."what's an rbl posse?.." or "where is apt 3" or "who is E40"

I know there is more going on in the bay area then just what I'm doing and I can't expect everybody to know about or understand my movement. Sometimes you have to humble yourself enough to say this event went on great without me so honestly they didn't need me. I would have made it better but I wouldn't have known that if I didn't go. And I wasn't supporting the people that put it together. I was supporting the bay area. People always talk about support the bay but don't understand it's not always gonna be easy and it's not always about yourself. It's about everybody. Even the people you might not see eye to eye with.

Real talk Thizz homie, I was there. The Bay Area needs functions like this & by helping support an event like the BAPC it only helps us get more exposure but u also get 2 meet a lot of people & @ the end of da day u are gonna learn SOMETHIN. It was good 2 conversate with legendary producers like Dwaye Wiggins & everybody on those panels, get a chance 2 give product 2 the people, network & hear some dope ass tracks from our homegrown talent ya digg.... That's what it's really about. Yay Area keep pushin that line & support West Coast music- Smokey Y.A.E.

@Ghost Dance: That's true and I'm sure they thought they did. They had Cozmo, Dewayne Wiggins, Michael Denton, Gennesse, some dude that works with Sly and George Clinton. That was the producers panel so by me going I realized only Rick Rock could complain. But like I said they could use other people as well.

I can recpest that folks...I just feel the hiphop scene in Norhtern cali dont support eachother as a whole...it seems its just a one way street for the support and once ppl get a little shine they dont want anybody else to shine with them...the radios stations dont support local artist so atleast the local artrist can support eachother...feel me

i hate it when people think theyre entitled to something like "kanye west" (regardless if you agree or disagree with him). as far as support...... a lot of artists dont go to events, shows, etc, unless it's about them. even the group of artists i work with have the same mentality. its pathetic. that mentality holds a lot of artists back. sometimes as people we need to step out our own box and see the bigger picture and then we can see how insignificant all of us really are as individuals and realize how being part of the bigger picture can make us significant as individuals.

IF YOU NEED TO ASK "WHO HAS T.C. WORKED WIT?"....YOU PROLLY SHOULDNT CONSIDER YOURSELF A FAN OF BAY AREA HIP HOP...PERIOD..TO ME,ITS MORE LIKE.."WHO HASN'T T.C. WORKED WIT??"...THAT'S IGNORANT.
