Kings and Pistons are still my teams. I think I'm gonna stop supporting the Hawks until their D is healthy and they play the catching WRs and throw more to the tight ends. Like they did last game.

But the Sonics are looking good until an injury hits and they fall apart.

I gotta give up to the Sonics their tearing it up. They don't have to deal with new free agents comming in besides Fortson. And Fortson fits right in. The average age on the team is 26. Plus now this is their second year all playing together. However like everyone said. The curse still lumes over Seattle teams. The Storm doesn't count.

In 96 if it wasn't for Jordan and the Bulls the Sonics would of won the finals. The 96 Bulls were voted the number one team in NBA history by ESPN. So the Sonics have that to fall back on. So maybe the curse won't effect the Sonics. Who knows. I wanna see the Sonics against Miami.

Yeah Sonics are surprising the hell out of me. That's twice they've beaten the spurs this year. I liken this team to the Carolina Panthers of last year cause i keep thinking they're gonna flop and lose but they keep stepping.

That lakers game yesterday was pretty entertaining - those two scoring droughts really hurt the suns but they showed nuts with those 3's in the end - too bad those bitches though didn't cover the 4

We got a tough schedule ahead of us...

12/8-in San Antonio-W 102-96
12/9-in Dallas(13-7)
12/11-Boston(they are one of 3 teams to beat us)
12/14-LAL(still dangerous)
12/17-Pheonix(15-3)
12/22-Denver(divisional match-up)
12/27-in Utah(division rival)

^^^^thats a tough stretch right there...and a real test to see HOW good we really are...

oh and by the way..Ron "Flip" Murry will be back in in the next couple of days...thats another 15 points or so off the bench...which i beleive is the 2nd best bench in the league(we always have a solid bench)...

Same here. I've been disapointed with the sonics since the year they made me almost cry....seriously, I almost cried after Dikembe Mutombo or whatever was holding the ball and upset the #1 team in the NBA in the first round....fuck I was pissed

Jesus Christ you're a terrible fan.

For real, us Seattle fans do learn to expect disappointment. It's been rough out there for a long time:
'91: Dawgs have to split National Championship w/ Miami, the BCS system would have worked perfectly this year

'93: Sonics 1 Game away from the Finals, lose to a possessed Charles Barkley

'94: Sonics dominate the league all year long, would have won NBA Championship had they not faced that red hot Denver team. @ 2-0-Sixx I DID CRY FOR A LONG TIME when Mutumbo was holding the ball lying on the floor

'96: Sonics finally make it to the Finals, only to be matched up against the greatest team in NBA History

98: Dawg Basketball makes it to the Sweet 16, then loses on that improbable lucky Rip Hamilton shot, they would've been 1 game away from the FINAL FOUR

00: If Dave Justice doesn't OWN Arthur Rhodes' bitch ass the Mariners win the ALCS and possibly the World Series

01: Don't even get me started, this season changed the way I look at regular season baseball for the rest of my life. 116-46? Are you fucking kidding me? Same old story.

02: Dawg Football one play from winning in the BIG HOUSE, they blow it (my first weekend away from Seattle too, bad bad bad welcome to the Midwest)

04: "We want the ball and we're gonna score" Yeah yeah you all make fun of it all you want, but I fuckin love that statement and Matt Hass they were fuckin MARCHING to a victory at Lambeau when one bad play...

Seattle, WA I love you but it is LOSERVILLE USA, among cities w/ 3 pro teams, only Cleveland has gone longer without a pro championship. And the frustrating part is sitting back and seeing places that don't deserve it (Anaheim Angels baseball, Arizona baseball) w/ shitty fans win championships when the die-hards up in the NW get disappointed every year. That and the fact that there are so many talented rappers up there that won't ever get a sniff by the rest of the world. SHIT MAKES ME MAD.

This year hope: UW Basketball, Sonics, still possibly Hawks
