The next Simpsons episode will reveal a Gay Simpsons charactor. LINK

"We have a show where, to raise money, Springfield legalises gay marriage," "Homer becomes a minister by going on the internet and filling out a form. A long-time character comes out of the closet, but I'm not saying who."

Who will it be? Lenny & Carl? Mr. Smithers? The comic book guy?





Recently, an episode aired where they obviously were talking about the Patriot act, when in the episode, it was called "The Government Knows Best Act." The simpson family was arrested for not being patriotic and eventually escaped from prison and moved to France!

The Simpsons sucks now. When's the last time a new episode was actually good? I can watch the re-runs over and over and they are still good. I guess they ran out of good ideas?

My old Political Science teacher showed Simpsons episodes (I think two different ones) to the class for educational pusposes. So I think it's safe to say you are correct.

The show sucks now because it takes in upwards of 5-6 months to animate new episodes. Ill stick with South Park, which takes less than 2 weeks, and can touch on any issue whenever they want.....

Yeah Simpsons aren't as good because as of late they've been too comercialized. It's not so much about the episode but who's the next big star we can get on the show. Lately though it's been recuperating and going into some funny shit.
As for the gay character my bet is on Smithers. Simpsons might hype it up and then reveal the most blatantly homosexual character on the show.

i thought the simpsons were on re runs right now, or are you guys talking about old episodes were they escape prison for being unpatriotic?...as for the show not being as funny now...what show after years of being on is still as funny late as it was early on...ill still take the simpsons over any show on tv.

and i wish they would refrain from an real life political issues, just because i love the show for its cartonny stupid humor, if i want politics ill watch cnn.

Southpark has actually gotten better. The new episodes blow the old ones out of the water every season just about. They just keep pushing the envelope further and further.
