The magazine of Hip-Hop music, culture and politics can add 'snitching' to the tagline since their recent series of exposé articles -- first on 50 Cent's credibility, the next on Eminem's alleged racist tape hitting newsstands this month and now with their full disclosure on payola practices at New York's famed Hot97 radio station.
The Source Magazine's February issue, hitting newsstands in late December, will feature details on the alleged investigation of pay-for-play at the popular station, an illegal practice which has been the source of rumors about the station for years. The Source reports that longtime Program Director Tracy Cloherty, will be leaving the company in the New Year and the station's marquee DJ, Funkmaster Flex is also said to be on his way out the door.
