Yea, the Roots really put on a good show, them and Mos Def, I was really surprised. Im thinking of coppin a couple of their cds, my collection is similar to yours, but the idea of "Hyphy" as a genre just aint doin it anymore, thats for 8th graders.

The Roots have always been my favorite live band, they give some of the best performances ever. Do You Want More (their second album) is still my favorite of their albums, although their music has progressed alot since then.

I'd say cop Game Theory (their latest) since that album was still great, one of their better album and one of the best albums to come out last year (which isn't really saying much, but still)

Illedelph Halflife is the best album they put out by far it almost a classic
I would call it a bonafide classic, myself.

They also have a full-length live album out that is really fuckin nice.

Easily the best live hip-hop act all-around.
