I THINK HE'S OUR BEST OPTION RIGHT NOW. MCCOWN IS HOT GARBAGE, CULPEPPER CAN'T HOLD ONTO THE BALL FOR SHIT AND RUSSELL AINT READY. I THINK WALTER COULD GO IN AND COMPETE FOR US. NOW THAT WE'VE DONE AWAY WITH THE ANCIENT PLAYBOOK AND THE 7 STEP DROPS I THINK HE MIGHT BE ABLE TO DO SOME THINGS. HE HAS MUCH BETTER TOUCH AND A STRONGER ARM THAN MCCOWN OR PEP, PLUS HE HAS GOOD DOWNFIELD VISION. I THINK THEY SHOULD GIVE HIM A CHANCE. HE DESERVES IT AFTER TAKING ALL THEM DAMN SACKS LAST SEASON.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I think he's better than McCown but to say he has a stronger arm and better touch than Culpepper is stretching it a bit... I still think Culpepper is our best qb right now hands down.

But I wouldn't oppose giving him a shot to see what he can do. I think he's not mobile and that's what could be keeping him on the bench. Whoever we put back there needs to be able to run and throw on the run which are Walter's weaknesses.

walter killlllllllllllllllllllled at asu. he was the pac10 leader in throwing TD's until leinart broke it. But then again college to pro is a big step when it comes to football.

honestly though, if a 9er fan is saying they should get brooks(lol), fuck it, it wouldnt hurt to start walter. he did have a good preseason.

what has pep done to make you feel that way? He's sucked really bad this year. Besides the one game at Miami. Culpepper is not very mobile anymore.

I'm not a big fan of ''if that toilet has a little less shit stain on it, sit on it..."

Fuck Walter...he's shit, too. Josh looks like ass. Daunte's played like shit. Jamarcus doesn't count...

I say bring Jeff Hostetler back.

LOL

Jeff Hostetler? LOL... he's a fool for that one. I think Walter is garbage but he has a better arm than McCown. Kiffin is scared to take shots down the field with McCown at qb.

Culpepper has played good enough for us to win games!

How's that? It wasn't Culpepper's fault that Mike Williams dropped that key pass against the Titans that woud have put us in position to win that game.

It wasn't Culpepper's fault that Curry dropped 3 or 4 passes against K.C. If Curry makes those catches we win that game.

Must have been a different Daunte fumbling the ball around, or taking sacks at key moments in games instead of throwing the ball away...has he had a 200 yard game?

Not too long ago...Walter was the joke of the forum (from Raiders fans, too), and ''should be traded''...now because the savior (Culpepper) isn't playing for SHIT, we should start this sack of shit? He couldn't outplay the other two douchebags, so why play him? Bring Tuiasosopo! (I probably butchered that name...)

Seriously...I thought the QB play would be better this year; not great, but better. I'm seriously thinking about trying to get Namath out of rehab and into a uniform.

ANYONE WOULD HAVE PLAYED LIKE SHIT BEHIND THAT SIEV OF AN O LINE LAST YEAR. IF YOU THINK HIM GETTING SACKED ALL THOSE TIMES IS IN ANY WAY INDICATIVE OF HIS SKILLS AS A QB, YOU'RE WRONG HOMIE. ANDREW WALTER CAN BE A GOOD QB IN THIS LEAGUE.
