Check this $hit out.

There you go 50cal. This is the type visual aspect I'm talking about when it comes to FL. Like I've been trying to tell you, FL's visual goodness makes it easier to work with and be creative.

FL Studio might not be considered "professional" to many when compared to other DAWS like Protools, Cubase, Logic,etc..., but it's certainly a creative "tool."

LOL 50cal, the difference is obviously TALENT. You went from WORST to BEST in ascending order. From a no-name 12 year old beginner to Battlecat. Good argument buddy. You crack me up.

The problem with FL Studio is that there's so many fucking users. It's easy to crack because the copy protection is just a registry key and get a hold of, therefore everyone is going to have it. Not to mention, it's VERY easy to use, therefore people are going to find it fun to use and continue to make shitty beats and stop right there without actually thinking about improving. There's A LOT of people that use FL Studio and have no clue what VSTs are. FL Studio is the easist program to instantly make music, despite the quality of it's shitty built-in sounds. People barely beginning are naive to the whole subject, don't know any better. They don't understand that there's better samples out there, and better plugins such as VSTs. The only thing they hear is that their making instant music, so they continuing using it as-is, without actually building up the program with your own samples and plugins.

You do know that insanely talented YouTube wierdo Ronald Jenkees uses it for his sequencing, right? It's all about talent, using good sounds and proper mixing.

If you can show two guys using hardware in collaboration with software sequencing, then I can show this:

Ronald jenkees can do some good keyboard shit, but as far as beats...garbi...I couldnt imagine anyone rappin on his shit so mentioning fruity loops...That pretty much sums it all up.

nooooooo. just no. go check out "derty" "super fun" "disorganized fun" and "clutter" by ronald jenkees
I think he's talking more about his music being "un-rapable." There's just too much going on, too many changes for it to be rapable. I think he has a point in that regard, but then again, I don't think Ronald ever meant for his music to be rapable or singable, his stuff is simply MUSIC, more improvising groove type $hit like jazz. It's more for listening pleasure than anything I would say. I don't think Ronald has hiphop knowledge though, but I'm sure if someone else came in and chopped his shit, you would be able to make some hiphop out of his work. I'm sure dude could lay down some chords or whatever and use it for a hiphop beat. Dude certainly has potential to do so, check out the FUNK in that video I posted.

But on the real, Scandal has some nice shit, and I been to his spot several times now and he uses FL. Ya'll should peep his shit also.

Hey Big Chill, you were the one trying to learn FL Studio, right?

Well if so, you might want to check out this website below, there's pretty good tutorials and info on it.
http://www.warbeats.com/

Also check out the video in this link, it gives a basic outline of how to make a beat in FL.

maaan,i got FL down packed already.i had a Motif, triton, and reason and i like FL the most.i can understand why hardware producers talk bad about it cause of these 59,856,883,563 wack ass no talent so called producers makin those trash ass beats everywhere.throw a few sounds in the step sequencer and swear they are official.the program is good once you learn how to use to right and get some tight ass vsts.
