then ya'll are def wrong...eastcoast has sum of da hottest beats as well as south midwest and west....eastcoast beats is some shit that ya'll need to just shut up and let it grow in u while gettin high to know what i'm talking about...weak eastcoast beats would be sum shit like hip hop it aint really bout beats it's really bout lyrics im also into that too but hip hop really would be like mf doom, krs one, black moon, and other type shit like that and alot of beats are tight to me...ya wanna check out some smooth tight eastcoast beats then ya gotta cop nas all his albums are da shit..you be see'n people sayin that stillmatic is da only good album cuz the beats are tight that tells you that they dont even no Shit about rap...cormega got some good shiit too, and others like capone n noreaga the reunion, dmx dark hell is hot, jedi mind tricks, jadakiss kiss da game goodbye lox money power respect, iono man jus listen to them...be sum people dat haven't even heard most of da eastcoast shit and some when dey talkin about eastcoast has some weak beats...get real and open ya fuccin ears and you'll see for ya selvez

I havent even heard of non of them niggas you named except Beta & Sean T. Phonk Beta is a great musician. obviously the others are not a factor we don't bump that shit here..

I don't think the east coast ever had WACK beats, that whole coast is just different in general and is hard to understand if youve lived on the coast. I've talked to HELLA east coast folks who would tell me that west coast beats are garbage...its all what you grow up hearin.

In general:

west & mindwest and most south meant to listen to in your car

east meant to listen to in your head phones riding the subway

rest of the south meant to listen to in the strip club while you get a lap dance



they're all good in their own respects, they are just made for and come from different cultures
