Have ya'll heard about this flic?? Its going to be based on the last 12 hours of the life of Jesus Christ. It is directed and created by Mel Gibson so you can expect some type of quality. Jim Cavaziel is going to be playing Jesus. I watched the trailer on it, it looks really crazy. Just wanted to see what ya'll think. Ill try to put the link on here for that trailer.

to be honest.............i gives a fuck about what a jewish person says about Jesus. they were the chosen people and they more or less wanted him killed because he wouldn't be a military leader for them. to this day, 80 percent of Jews don't believe he was anything more than a prophet, when in fact, he is the only reason i am going to heaven. where is that website though, i could use a good laugh

they wanted a military leader against the romans, once they realized that he wasn't there for that, they wanted him killed on the account of blasphemy. they were looking for any reason though to kill him once they realized it. they wanted to have him killed for performing miracles on the sabbath day, saying it was against the commandments.

but didnt their bible or prophets prophsize that the savior would free them from the romans among other things? if your religion told u Jesus was going to do 'this' and 'that' when he comes back but he comes back tomorrow and does something else wouldnt you hold some suspicion?

also, Jesus was kind of like a revolutionary. He changed what the previous teachings. They held a 'eye for an eye' philosophy, while Jesus practiced turning the other cheek. the jews and Jesus held two different philosphies so of course they didnt accept him.

@jose, i see where you are coming from, totally. but there are still numerous Jews who had never seen him face to face, and as soon as they saw him, they knew who he was and what he was there to do, even when they weren't "believers" before that moment. you couldn't deny Jesus if you saw him do the things he did, and he came and spoke what God was telling him to speak. it was different than things had been, but it was also different than anything that had ever happened. never before had a man, or son of God been sent to save the souls of the world by living a sinless life and dying on the cross for our sins. yes, it is different than they may have expected, but if they would have taken 10 minutes to listen to what Jesus had to say, they wouldn't have been worried about the roman stronghold on their area, because they would have had an eternity to live in happiness.

@aturayacamel, i heard it was in aramic too.
