i dont know why everyone trips on hockey, always puttin it down n stuff..its easily one of the most exciting sports in the world, and the sharks represent the bays best chance for a major title right now (yes even more so than the warriors)..without a doubt playoff hockey is the best, it always get turned up a few notches by both teams, and it's really a "to the death" feel..

step your sports levels up and get on the hockey hype, u guys dont know what you're missing!

yeah same wit baseball. i think it's u feeding off the energy of all the fans in the stadium and when ur home team wins even more the energy. like when i went to the hockey game there was a fight wich i was happy to see and samsornov or whatever got a hat trick when he played for the bruins. then when i went to the sox game it was the playoffs so it was pretty exciting and i went to the game when martinez threw down some old dude when the whole team fought the yankees olol

its when the def. team has the puck in theyre own def zone (from the blue line down toward there goalie) and they shoot the puck all the way down to the other side of the ice without anyone touching it. kind of like a delay of game.

I live in Detroit and I hate hockey... I'm not sure if that means much, but I can't stand the sport..

Too many dumb rules, too boring to watch on TV..

But it is fun to be at a game watching, though. But tickets are too expensive here when you can go to a Piston game, which is always more fun and energetic, and they have a better arena for cheaper.

I grew up on hockey, Im a Red Wings fan. Although they had that strike the other year and after they got back on, I lost interest. They switched things up and pushed harder penalties for fighting. Icing is no longer in the rule book FYI. Playoff hockey is fun to watch still, give me a reason to get drunk. Other than that, Im more interested in watching any NBA team game over my own Detroit Red Wings. Fuck it.

yeah, I've had icing explained to me hella many times and I still don't get that shit.....I went to a sharks game tho and that was actually pretty coo. I would play the ice hockey game with my potna, but I'd get dumbass icing calls all the damn time....I'd always play as the team with the music note as their logo....

I like it because I grew up watching Mario Lemieux and now I got Sydney Crosby.

That's the hockey equivalent of watching Joe Montana and Steve Young.
