I remember waking up in the morning not thinking terrorists.
I remember when burning a CD was a difficult thing to do and anyone with a burner was a God.
I remember when Napster was the THE place to download mp3s (at the slowest pace ever)
I remember when a portable CD player was expensive
I remember when video game systems were under $200 and the games were top notch
I remember when people in the rap game didn't have Tupac's image to copy off of.
I remember when the music industry wasn't dictating rap music's direction
I remember when the dollar was worth more than the Euro
I remember the way weed used to get me so high I didnt want to be high anymore
I remember when Michael Jordan and Larry Birdy played BBall, Barry Bonds was a skinny ass dude on the Pirates, Lemiuex and Gretsky were playing hockey, and the Bills or Dolphins would continuously make the Patriots their doormat

yeah...it was DOPE.
it was just Big, lil Cease & the WHOLE HILLSIDE in a small ass room in Cal Expo. Mac Shawn gave Big the phone, Big chopped it up with whomever it was, got VERY apologetic, and that was that. but before Big did the show, he wanted another 5 racks, because of all that happening to him. Of course the bitch ass promoter, gave him the loot (which happened to be Mack 10's bread) and the show went on.....that is until Mack 10 got there and his loochi was nowhere to be found. He went on stage, cursed Biggie and the promoter out, then drove right back to LA.
ahhhhh, memories.
i remember before cell phones, you had to actually memorize everybody's phone number. i had a good memory too. public payphones used to be really useful to everybody. carrying spare change used to be important! only businessmen and drug dealers used have pagers, then everyone started buying them.
fast forward 10 years, and the average person has a cell phone. we waste about 50 dollars on that more or less. having internet costs around 25 dollars. we pay triple now for gas. is it any wonder we download music nowadays?
