The Official Mannie Fresh Is The Greatest Producer Of All Time

its been years since i looked at the booklet for Charlie Hustle - but i believe either Bosko or Rick Rock did that "Look At Me" beat.
as for Mannie being merely a "beatmaker" LOLLLLLLLLLLL you clearly haven't listened to enough of his songs with a statement like that. a true producer, someone like DJ Quik, is someone who not only makes the beat, but executes the vision of the song, provides the structure, comes up with the hook, etc. Mannie does all of this - a true producer and one of the greatest of all time in terms of hip-hop. here's an example of what i'm talking about, a mere "beatmaker" isn't capable of songs like this:
having said all that, in terms of my personal rankings DJ Quik > Mannie Fresh
and i would LOVE to hear what DJ Quik thinks about Mannie Fresh. i guarantee he wouldn't call him a "beatmaker" or say anything along those lines lollllll seriously that is the funniest shit i've read on here in years, sorry Mike
