I'm fucking SICK OF HEARING about "JOE THE PLUMBER." Joe The Plumber is a McCain supporter who isn't close to buying a plumbing business, owes back taxes, and DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A PLUMBER'S LICENSE!!!!

I think this was a last ditch effort from the McCain camp from the start, planting him to ask Obama why he's going to "raise his taxes" and then planning on using it in a desperate attempt to spread more lies about Obama and his policies. It's no coincidence McCain mentioned Joe The Plumber 24 times last night and is now using Joe The Plumber as the backbone in his rally speeches.

Turns out, "Joe The Plumber," if he actually bought and owned this fictional plumbing business, would actually receive MORE TAX CREDIT under Obama's plan than McCain's. What was Joe The Plumber's response to that? "I still don't like it because other people would be hurting." Bear in mind this is the same Joe The Plumber who thinks we should abolish social security and Americans should be responsible for taking care of their disabled or sick relatives with NO ASSISTANCE AT ALL.

What a farce. McCain referring to "Joe The Plumber" as the winner of last night's debate. A fictional plumbing company that theoretically makes more than a quarter of a million dollars a year.... is supposedly the winner of last night's debate. Yet 95% of REAL small businesses across America would get more help under Obama's plans than McCain's.

I have a message for McCain and his hero, Joe The Plumber.
LAY OFF THE CRACK.
Americans will not fall for the nonsense.

I'm not siding with anybody, because they both put each other on blast last night. McCain looked pist, and Obama looked cocky...both traits we can't have in a president. Obama's plan isn't fool proof, either. Taxing the big guy and giving tax breaks to the small guy, on paper, is a good idea. However, there is this thing called the "Trickle Down Effect". Eventually, Obama taxing the rich more is going to affect the smaller folks. It will take time, but it will happen.

Obama's healthcare plan is a mistake, too. That type of shit is in effect in Canada and the UK...works for them, wouldn't work here. Imagine waiting a month or so to see a doctor. What if you find a lump and it's cancer? A month could make it too late to save your ass. I can't stand going to the DMV, which is a government agency. I can't IMAGINE having to go to a government run hospital.

I just saw this dude on t.v., and he has a point. He confronted Obama about the tax situation, and Obama told him to "share the wealth". This guy isn't rich, but since his company will be making $250,000 or so a year, he will be getting hit harder with taxes. He still has bills to take care of and employees to pay, so what are his options? Raise his prices. Ahhh, the good old trickle down effect.

#1 - the guy is NOWHERE NEAR owning this "company"

#2 - I don't even know why I bother because it's just a neverending back and forth, but his taxes IF THIS COMPANY WERE TO MAKE MORE THAN $250K a year would go up less than 3%, and the relief Obama's providing to the middle class would mean people have MORE MONEY IN THEIR POCKETS TO USE HIS SERVICES, which means he has MORE BUSINESS, which means prices don't need to go up at all for Mr. Joe to continue living comfortably, owning this fictional business that he is nowhere near owning.

It was a point. Fact of the matter is, the trickle down effect exists and it WILL happen. The folks making that money will get taxed more, then eventually the middle class will have to pay for it. That's just the way it happens. I'm not saying McCain's plan is any better...in fact, they both suck. Obama has a good idea and I know what he's TRYING to do, but it's not going to work that way. He's a bit naive, and all his plans have to run through other politicians. His plan of CHANGE isn't going to change much, if anything.

And I'm sorry, but I'm not for "Sharing the wealth". Nobody is helping me out...I've worked hard for what I have, and nobody deserves one cent of it but me.

^ and did you know the tax increase is goes up for money AFTER the 250k? Trickle down effect my ass. No company I've worked for has ever spread the love out of the kindness of their heart. Why make a few rich guys more money which the affects might get passed along. Fuck that shit.
