i like salmon pan seered then thrown in the oven

with a side of steamed asparagus seasoned with a lil salt and topped with butter

havent been in a while but i used to go to the delta about 3x a week for stripers/sturgeon/catfish

my first sturgeon blew my mind. its awesome because you never know what youre gonna hook

ive caught about 15-20 different kinds of fish

all of the trouts
catfish
striper
sturgeon
halibut
etc

gone salmon fishing once & got skunked

Trout, Salmon, Combination trips out of any marina in the ocean. Halibut, Shark, Steelhead Etc.

No the salmon #'s are not up to par. I could have gone 10 min. away and caught bigger salmon but that river is closed. Some rivers are allowed some not.

Sac. River is cool because you can go for a certain type. Like today only Salmon. Or chill and see what the fuck bights. There are at least 5 + species of fish that come from the Delta.

Best place depends on where u live. East bay - San Pablo Resv.

South Bay - Del Valle, Lake Anderson , Coyote Lake, & Parkway Lake 4 fun.

North bay SF - I always fished the piers & caught weird shit. Pacifica was my favorite.

Anywhere you live there is a great place to fish - So kick back have a beer, and catch some fish & post it.
