Dwight Howard says Gasol is not soft
Do you agree that people say Pau Gasol is soft? Dwight Howard: I don't think he's soft. I've played a lot against him. You can call him soft or whatever, but he has two things than the rest don't have: two championship rings. You can't be soft and an NBA champion. The ones who call him that I'm sure they want to mess with his head, but that's not true. He is a physical player in the paint and very smart. He's not soft at all.

huh?? we are giving up odom and bynum for him. No Guarantee he even signs an extension. Its not like dwight is holding out until free agency along with chris paul and making plans to join kobe in 2012 with the lakers not having to give anything up. Along with that kobe, dwight, and paul all agreeing to make less money just so they can all play on the same team. Lakers are nothing like the bitch ass heat. so stop crying.
Spanish forward Pau Gasol, who has been linked to a move to the Minnesota Timberwolves, said Monday he wants to stay with the Los Angeles Lakers for "as many years as I can".
The Timberwolves have reportedly been strongly pursuing Gasol to pair with Barcelona guard Ricky Rubio, who will play for the NBA side next season.
"My desire is to stay with the Lakers. I don't have control over it but I want to stay with the Lakers for as many years as I can to be able to remain eligible for the maximum possible championships," Gasol told reporters in the northeastern city of Alicante.
The reports linking Gasol to a move to the Tiberwolves came after the Dallas Mavericks swept the Lakers 4-0 in the conference semifinals of the NBA playoffs.

damm. y u mad son? This year Bynum was healthy and Odom got the 6th man award then they got swept like a muthafucka. That was an ugly sweep too. See how hard the Lakers were trying to avoid that sweep. 2 ejections. Lamar Kardashian and Elbow Bynum couldnt accept the sweep. I guess Kobe took it like a man. Eh honestly he's washed up bro, what he can he provide? Look at his frame, dude is bulky but can't slide his feet on defense to lock down his defender AKA CLUMSY. Don't get me wrong though he stepped up against Boston to win the title in Game 7. Kobe let him and Fish bring it home. They made a mistake with that multi year contract, should of offered him a solid 3 year 12-15 Mill contract at most. Barnes? he's seen better days in a magic and warrior jersey, he was my biggest disappointment regardless of his injury, he had plenty of time to recover. They need a solid PG now, Fish looks as if he should have came off the bench during these 2011 playoffs. Shannon Brown should of started although he isn't a true PG, his versatility would of been a plus for the lakers. Lastly it appeared Kobe was the only Hungry Laker during the 2011 Playoffs.
