We are now taking applications for the 2002 2 Sicc Reviews/Siccness.net awards. The awards will be targeted towards underground music who receive very little congradulations for their hard work. This will be done entirely online and voted with a small team of judges. The awards categories have not yet been announced, but will be something like "Artists of the Year," "Best New Artist," etc. Right now we are in need of judges for the awards. If you are interested please email me at: [email protected] In order to become a judge you must:

A) Be registered on the Siccness for at least 6 months.
B) Be of Knight status (or other high ranking status).
C) Know about many of the releases of this year.

We would prefer people who have done reviews on the site here. We need at least 10 people to be judges. Please either email me or drop a line here through this post for more information. The awards will be held at the end of January and will cover the entire year of 2002. Thanks to all that reply and are interested. Please respond as soon as possible so we can get things rolling.

i been postin on the siccness for like 3 years on 3 different names but im not a knight...but id still like to see this happen

It's going to go down like this:

1) We get all the people together to make up the judges, most like from 8 to 10 people.

2) Everyone will submit categories like "Album of the Year" etc.

3) Once we get the categories set up we need to submit people for the awards in each of those categories.

4) We as a group will vote on who are the winners.

5) We will have an announcement at the end of January (date not yet determined) for the winners and they will have a little graphic to go along with it. Something just like the graphic I made above, except with a little note on what they won.

So if anyone is interested in becoming a judge then please let me know so we can get things going on. Right now it's only me and I think maddogg was going to get in on it. I need at least 6 more people to make this thing happen. This is your chance to finally get some say in who gets the props they deserve. So hit me back @ [email protected]

You asked me a few months ago,are you prepared to run this?Cuz you have'nt said a thing since I read this post.Am I a judge,or not?

Vamps,I might be able to get my uncle to actually make the awards.He works in a trophy shop.Atleast some of the winners not involved with this site will have an award.

Yeah you were in from the beginning homie. I just didn't want to vouch for anyone cause I tried to get things together awhile back, but Vamps suggested we wait until the end of the year to include all the music of 2002. I'll count you in.

Yeah homie you're in too. I kinda figured you'd want to get down on this. So now we have 5. At least 3 more to make this thing work, 5 more preferably. Let anyone else know if their interested or not to let me know so we can get things started.

Coo both Rican Gotti and Tim C are in. That makes 9. I'm going to let another day to see if anyone else wants to join, after that the judges will be set and I'll hit all you back with more information on where we go from here. Thanx to all that are particpating and making this thing happen.
