but alot of cats out here dont evn sound like neone from the 90s..
i barley here any more gangsta shit
Naw, nothing like trying to be the next brotha lynch. I mean katz that are tryna rep Sac town.

Growing up, all I heard was Cbo, lynch, X raided, Young Dre D... I'm not saying standards as the same genre of the same muzik, but standards of the same levels of recognition for the town.

But alot of the new gen is dope, so dont think I'm hating or anything.

^^ naw i feel you...
I didnt want you to think the new gen has to follow the same route as them dudes. Make your own path, but to bridge generations, if I had skill, I'd work wid hella Sac town peeps, there's an abundant of OGs that are just Well recognized and could help with the local muzik scene.

While many bring up old skool or classic artists/songs, I gotta say Sacramento is pretty active on this front. No other region on here constant brings up 90's gangsta shit like Sac.

good point. I just think that their are some big shoes to fill from the 90's, that's all.
This is very true......In the 90's the artist that were repping were Titans......Real underground legends & can be compared to the greats in hip hop history.......Lynch, Bo, X, Sicx can be compared to the greats in hip hop history IMHO........They changed my entire outlook on this street shit.......BMR & Awol will never be forgotten in the underground........Its a lot of pressure on the new generation to produce cuz if they can't make us go crazy over their music like the niggaz we grew up loving then they will be placed in exile......Not their fault but the Sac artist from the 90's raised the bar extremly high for the new generation.

What yall think about the other one's though.L-Solo??Blapstar??E-Gunna??Tha Dirk??
I'm not gonna hate but they're just not my style.
All that Pack/Team Knoc/StupidDumbHyphy shit that cats do is weak to me... If a dude aint spittin, I wont listen!

Then again its 'fun' music and they got their fan base so let em do what they do
but it isnt 'hip hop'
