Yeah, but I think they only do that in NY and on Fox games, don't they?

I went to about 20 games in Oakland this year and they never did that. I don't think they did it in the SF games I went to either.

I went to an A's game in NY and after they did God Bless America they played this gay ass song called "Cotton Eyed Joe" or some shit, and they had this hillbilly in a straw hat on the big screen dancing like an asshole. I don't remember if they played Take Me Out to the Ballgame at all.

yeah its kinda played out, I am all for showing love to your country but they more less do it just for show anymore it seems, like its the "in" thing to do

In NY it's kinda different, the atmosphere at the games is different there and I can see why they do it, but I dunno why they do it on all the FOX games, I don't think they do it at a lot of those stadiums. Could be wrong though.

I think they do it just in the WS...then they sing take me out to the ballgame right after, but that parts not on TV.

Trying to remember how it was when Anaheim was in the WS, Im pretty sure thats how it was.
