Its a difference between Nigga and Nigger.I don't say Nigger and it can be debated an say its the same but that is excepted in our community.

Theres no difference. Only difference is one is what white folks say to degrade you, the other is what black folks and say to degrade themselves.

whether your whiter than a ghost or blacker than wesley snipes, you sound like an idiot saying it
Agreed.

It's hilarious when people say -a is a different meaning than -er in the N word. Then trigga must mean a whole different meaning than trigger, fucking stupidest argument I've ever heard.

This is how I look at it. The word is specific to the Black American culture. Although it's roots are in slavery it has taken on a new meaning and is used within the community as a term of endearment. I tend to see it as being similar to words in other cultures that create a sense of camaraderie such as "pare" in Tagalog, "uso" in Samoan or "carnal" in Spanish. So, in my opinion, if you've been accepted into the community and the word has been used toward you, then I feel it is ok to use the word in return. However, this doesn't mean that one can use it freely outside of the community or with members of a different culture. So yeah, keep it within the black community.

What would you think if you saw two white guys referring to each other as "pare."

Times change. Look at the Chappelle Show for example, that show exploited the fuck out of the "N" word. How can you say keep it within the black community? It's a little late for that.

When other races such as caucasians or asians use it in their community, most of the time it's as a joke to eachother, this was influenced from shows such as David's.

Personally there are bigger problems out there than people using the "N" word. But that's just my opinion. Why people would want to use it? Who knows. But it's not a big problem and that's that.

Keep it in the Black community meaning only Blacks or those accepted into the Black community should be able to use the word.

I don't watch the Chappelle show so I wouldn't know. But I'll tell you this, the fact that he used the word doesn't give others outside of the community the right to use it.

And no, caucasians and asians use the word towards each other as if it was their own. Many of them seriously believe that they have the right to use it.

Buddy, don't over-analyze what I said.

I understood what you are saying, completely, the first time.

What I am saying is, it's a little late to talk about the use of the "N" word because it's already been blew the fuck out proportion due to a number of reasons, one of those is black comedy. Starting with Richard Pryor to Eddie Murphy to Chappelle and so forth.
