Ok, so what's your take? Star map? Calendar? Sacrificial hot spot? Druid spoap box? Or simply the result of some smart-ass teenage blokes high off the dregs and playing a prank that would puzzle sober adults for eons afterward?

Machinery as we know it? A little known fact of old societies is that they had machinery up to standards with what we had in the early 1900's. Under masonic rule, for generations societies with this advanced machinery were to keep all plans secret, under oath to their brethren and when a society moved on and was ready for new frontiers, all evidence of technology was to be destroyed so that other cultures could not advance their status on the laurels of Masonic progress.

The secret was kept and passed on under apprentices to be taught only to one other person, who would then dispose of his teachers creations apon his teachers death and use all salvaged parts to rebuild the same creations with his own advancements. The reason technology saw a great boom in the last part of the previous millenium was that when the 'pilgrims' left England for the New World, they brought along some defective members of the secret order who used their knowledge to rebuild in America.

This technology boom came from the leak in technology that was kept secret and passed along since the time of the pyramids... if you thought Stonehenge was amazing, just look at the Great Pyramids - that was technological marvel at it's greatest.
